Enzymes have an effect on all the important reactions in our body. They are the tiny but essential tools we need for digesting the food we eat, healing diseases, transporting oxygen and carbon dioxide, repairing tissues etc. Once the enzyme activity stops, we simply die.
Enzymes are found in all living creatures and organisms. In contrast to lactic acid bacteria which multiply themselves, enzymes have to be produced all the time. The main human enzyme producing organs are saliva, liver, pancreas, and the intestinal flora. Enzyme functions are negatively affected by for example aging, unhealthy diet, and unbalanced flora but we can support and keep the enzyme function at a normal level by taking human specific pancreatic enzymes.
Enzymes should always be taken with food.
